This is the first basic thing a health worker will notice or
ask from the patient, why I use the words ‘’notice or ask ‘’ is that ‘’signs
and symptoms’’ are two different aspect in the medical sector.
SIGNS are the signal
the health worker observe from a sick person at a distance without talking to
the patient, the same sickness have different signs in some people, the health
worker must knowledgeable enough to know the signs.
SYMPTOMS are
reports or feeling given by the patient to the health workers, this method is
essential to any health worker because it makes their work very easy. It is
reliable because it is the same symptom for everybody but not the same signs
appear in all patients this is due to their DNA, Immune system etc.
When all this are
put together, they are compared with disease or illness having the same signs
and symptoms on people, when the cause is identified the next stage is
Treatment, Cure or Prevention.
