Malaria. symptoms, treatment and prevention

Malaria is a blood infection which causes chills and high fever, mosquito is just a parasite which feeds on the malaria parasites in the blood and a medium by which this infection is been transferred from a host to another.

Signs/Symptoms

·         Chills

·         Headache

·         Weakness

·         Fever(40⁰ or more)

·         Delirious

·         Sweat

·         Low temperature

Malaria fever causes fever for 2-3 days

Treatment

Use drugs which contain chloroquine, quinine or anti-malaria drug /injection. For best result consult your chemist.

Prevention

·        >    Avoid mosquitos infested area

·        >    Use treated mosquito net

·        >    Cooperate with Malaria control workers

·        >    Consult the doctor for any signs of malaria

·        >    Destroy mosquito hideouts

·        >   Take anti-malaria medicines regularly.
